I always worry that the organizational structure won't suit me well. I look forward to seeing how you use yours and if it in fact does help you better organize and track all things home.
It’s something that very few other journal brands have made me feel, and I think I can say it’s due to Moleskine’s marketing. It also has an elastic closure, a ribbon bookmark, and an expandable inner pocket for keeping everything in order. Dated from January to December of 2022, it even comes in soft or hard covers for your preference of flexibility or stability. The daily breakdown makes it easy to plan while the monthly and yearly snapshots provide a clear visual of your year. Designed in Italy and carefully crafted in China, these products are available worldwide. Worst customer service I have EVER dealt with.
Base Review
Among the most popular bullet journal notebooks, Moleskine has some of the thinnest paper. However, that doesn’t mean that it can’t take a beating. In my bullet journal watercolor test, I pushed my Moleskine classic notebook to the limit and it survived. While the paper didn’t handle the stress flawlessly, it did do a decent job of preventing bleeding or other drastic effects.

Moleskine Review
I’ve used Moleskine journals and 18 month planners for years and have had no problems with the elastic or bookmark ribbon. I like the lighter weight paper for the compact size and relatively light weight of the overall journal. I have never had one come apart and they have lived in my purse and back pack and kitchen counter and travel carry on.
I would have preferred fewer populated sections and more of my own blank sections. I think that many of the sections could be combined and reduced pages. I ran out of space in the 3-4 pages they give you for the TODO list.
Moleskine Classic Notebook Review
Pretty much the same as all other reviewers, purchased an item online 8 days ago. The parcel company confirms they still have not received the item. I should have read the reviews, quite possibly the worst shopping experience I’ve had. I received the same ‘cut and paste’ response as every other disgruntled customer it seems, all the right words, but no factual information as to the location of my parcel. For anyone who loves wine, not just drinking, but the whole experience of tasting, I would recommend this product and give it a rating of 5 stars out of 5. I think it would make a great gift for any wine lovers or a treat for yourself.
As long as I am careful on my pen choice to limit ghosting, it has been a huge productivity tool for me at the office. It is also the “Extra Large” size for Moleskine, approx 7.5×10. The extra large format is still easy to tuck in a tote bag, but it also has the extra room to “breathe” and write, which I really like. Check out my honest Archer & Olive Blackout!
These are blank and the pages are formatted in a variety of ways, from lined to blank. I haven’t decided how to use these sections yet. I do think, to give credit where it’s due, Moleskine as a brand really started us all down the path toward bullet journal notebooks of higher quality by reviving an old classic. Even though it’s no longer my preferred notebook, it definitely has its place, and it’s a brand that has inspired me to demand more from my notebooks . When it comes to options, Moleskine has you covered.
I found that the elasticity of the strap wore out pretty immediately, leaving it weak and ineffectual. With the elastic strap being so weak, I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting the notebook in a purse or backpack. The elastic band is the security that is supposed to keep the journal closed and the pages safe, but I can’t say I’d trust this band to do its job.
It will require quite a bit of self-discipline to sit down and write, especially because we’re going to be busy. If not, I’ll still have used it for planning before we head out and once we return I’ll use it for bucket list and other travel ideas. I have never had an issue with the bookmarks or the elastic, and I have abused a couple of small reporter notebooks that I tend to carry when traveling internationally. After my first official complete year of bullet journaling with the A5 Leuchtturm1917, I am in search of a new bullet journal for next year. As I said, I am not a fan of the A5 size, so I am considering the Extra Large bullet journal from Moleskine.
